wilhelm reich

thirties psychoanalyst and contemporary of freud. Member of the german Communist party until 1936. Exiled from Germany for his opposition to the Nazi party. Author of such books as Listen Little Man, The Sexual Revolution and the Mass Psychology of Fascism. Provided a revolutionary analysis of the means by which fascist and totalitarian states find support amongst the populace. Introduced the term "character armoring" to represent neuroses manifesting themselves as obstructions to the flow of energy within the human body.

Moves to Norway and later the USA, where his work on bioenergy leads him to develop the concept of "orgone energy". Develops "orgone accumulator box" which works like a tanning-bed for this orgone energy. Is widely ridiculed for this as well as his subsequent claim to have found a cure for cancer, and a weather-changing machine. Yet his "orgone box" repeatedly saves the lives of mice injected with cancer cells and placed inside it.

Puts ten milligrams of radium in an orgone box- the result is everyone in the 3-story building gets radiation sickness and radiation detectors 120 miles away pick up trace amounts of radioactivity.
His "orgone boxes" are destroyed by the FDA when he attempts to sell them across state lines.

He then moves from New York to Arizona to continue his weather research. he is hired twice by farmers who want him to make it rain and on both occasions DOES. One week after his arrival in a small arizona town a torrential rainstorm breaks out and more rain falls in a week than did inthe previous 40 years.

Still continues to sell "orgone boxes". In 1955 FDA hauls his ass into court. Sentenced to a year in jail in '56. Dies on Nov. 3rd 1957 aged 60.

Wilhelm Reich revolutionized psychoanalysis and invented machines that, while they seem doubtful, have striking amounts of evidence in existence in favour of them actually working

Matt Wilhelm

The best flatlander in the world in my opinion. Has won two year end Champion titles, 3 X-games medals, Fox's "30 seconds to fame" $25,000 grand prize, Silver medal in the World Championship, and many more awards. he made a dvd called "ground rules." His tricks include spinning on front and back wheels, scuffing, and of course his Signature "No-Handed Time Machine."

i bought this dvd called ground rules made by matt wilhelm and now i can do a tailwhip on my bike.

Wilhelm Gustloff

NOUN

1. The MV Wilhelm Gustloff German Nazi cruise ship (later converted into a German troop, hospital, and evacuation ship during Operation Hannibal) that was torpedoed 3 times by a Soviet submarine and sunk in the icy Baltic Sea on January 30th, 1945 (during World War II) while carrying over 10,000 refugees (mostly women and children) and military personnel. She was very highly overloaded and over 9,000 people were killed (most of them civilians, including 5,000 children) and only 1,000 survived. It is the worst single maritime disaster in HUMAN HISTORY, SIX TIMES deadlier than the titanic (which killed 1,500 people).

He remained its leader from 1932 until he was assassinated in 1936 by David Frankfurter, a Croatian Jewish student who opposed the growth of the NSDAP. The Nazi cruise ship, the MV Wilhelm Gustloff, was named after him.

A Wilhelm Scream

1. One of THE BEST melodic hardcore bands on the fucking market. They're amazing songwriters and every member of the band is a talented musician. Most often flamed as "just another yelling, angry band" solely because of their frequent use of the word "Fuck".
They recently picked up Mike Supina and Bri Robinson, who are amazing musicians.

Mike's a really rad guy.
The current line up as of March 28, 2008 is as follows:
Nuno Pereira-Vocals
Nick Angellini-Drums
Trevor Reilly-Guitar/Vocals
Bri Robinson-Bass/Vocals
Mike Supina-Guitar/Awesome

2. A repeated sound effect used in early films for the death of a male character.

1. On March 15th, I saw A Wilhelm Scream with The Unseen, The Side Affects, and Crack and Divide. I got to go backstage and meet the band, they fucking rock even more offstage than they do on.

And that's saying ALOT.

2. Did you here the wilhelm scream in God of War, it's so cheesy!

Prince Wilhelm

A Prince Wilhelm is probably the least common form of male genital piercing -- though it heals quickly and is relatively trouble free. It enters the foreskin and exits immediately behind foreskin.

I was going to get a Prince Albert but then I figured since I'm intact and of German descent, maybe I should get a Prince Wilhelm.

Pull A Wilhelm

Pulling a Wilhelm is when you decide to change your nationality illegitimately

"I'm gonna pull a Wilhelm and be British now." Said Hitler.

A Wilhelm Scream

A famous male scream that can be heard in such popular films as the Star Wars saga, The indiana Jones trilogy and the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

In Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones is driving the truck carrying the ark through the desert. While Driving, he tries to shake off a couple of nazi's climbing on top of the truck and when one of them falls off, you here the Wilhelm scream. During the battle of the Pelennor fields in the Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, Legolas the elf climbs his way up a Mumakil(giant elephant), sturggles a bit with a Haradrim soldier and then throws him off the Mumakil, at which point the Haradrim makes A wilhelm scream.
