I was so tired my essay started to look like chicken scratch
Chicken scratch (in art) appears messy with many strokes to make one line. For it to be truly chicken scratch, the art would have an odd formation of shapes- as in the shape isn't clear due to overlapping lines.
"Jessica's art is chicken scratch! I can't even tell where the bottom of the head is because there's so many overlapping lines!"
When somebody's handwriting looks like a chicken wrote it.
EX: T=Teacher S= Student
*S is writing essay*
T- Your handwriting looks like chicken scratch
S- Well to bad
The handwriting the person your trying to cheat off of has.
Bob: Hey Bill, can I cheat off of you?
Bill:Sure
*shows paper*
Bob: Are you joking? What is this Chicken Scratch junk?
