An exclamation used to express the likelihood that a course of action is not worth its effort. The term is loosely synonymous with meh, but with more zest.

"Hey, can you pick me up later on?"

"Shmee..."

Shmee

A misspelling of the character Smee from the Peter Pan stories. It could also be Smee's name spoken by one with a lisp.

lulz. I love the scene from the 1991 movie Hook, when Shmee says, "Shmee! Shmee! Shmee. What about Shmee? Shmee's me. What about me?"

A replacement word. Often used similarly to the way one uses "thing" to describe an object who's name has been temporarily forgotten. Unlike "thing" however, when using "Shmee" a positive connotation is given to the speakers forgetfulness.

Shmee is often accompanied by a short description of the intended object, or simply defined by where the speaker is pointing.

Bob has a Brainfart and forgets what a wrench is. (just for a second)

Without the use of Shmee:
"Bob: Hey bro, can ya hand me that thing right over there *points to wrench*

Bro: Yeah! you mean this thing? *picks up wrench*

Bob: Yup thats the thing!"

Sally: You forgot what a wrench is called?

Bob your pathetic.

Bro: Yeah! you mean this Shmee? *picks up wrench*

Bob: Yup thats the Shmee!"
