trad cat

Trad Cat is another name for Traditionalist Roman Catholics, especially those who are traditional to the extreme.
Trad cats generally attend Latin Masses, insist on their daughters wearing long skirts at all times, and don't very much like anything that is post-Vatican II.
They also tend to believe that sex is only to be had for baby making and must be done in the dark without any enjoyment.

Also known as "tradcat".

John's dad is such a trad cat.

You might not want to go to her house, her family is a bunch of trad cats.

Thirst Trad

A young, attractive woman (or can be a man too) who is part of conservative and/or more traditional spaces who speaks against the ills of feminism, is seemingly pro-life and dislikes the modern dating scene, yet simultaneously posts thirst traps on their social media accounts to gain more attention and a following from both men (or women) who β€œlike” what she has to say and/or other women (or men) who will validate their beauty and endeavors and message…

Conservative Guy: did you see Emily’s speech at the youth summit? It was amazing!

Based Conservative Girl: she only got that spot because she’s a thirst trad…

Conservative Guy:….

Trads

The term given to traditional students who are dazed and not as sophisticated as the students in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program which is an academically rigorous program designed to give that student hell as well as accomplishment.

Stupid trads, can't even add without their fingers.

trad-signalling

A form of virtue signalling found in online far right circles where one tries to gain as much ideological street cred as possible by connecting themselves to highly traditional and conservative groups/ideas from the past. Typically this takes the form of bragging about being devoutly christian with lots of kids, a stay at home wife, and links to famous historical figures in thier anscestry, or in some cases to posess a particularly pure white anscestry thats even better than anybody elses whiteness.

Trad-signalling often utilizes some pretty overt undertones regarding racial purity and proving whiteness. This often backfires hilariously when prolonged association reveals the individual to be complete hypocrites/frauds who can't actually live up to the ideas and values they supposedly espouse. This phenomenon is particularly common in the many alt-right and racial extremist groups operating on chat services like telegram or discord.

Nobody cares about your stupid trad-signalling steve. I saw you sharing lolicon hentai earlier today in the NSFW channel.

trad capp

In specialty coffee: Pretentious douche code-speak when ordering a 'traditional cappuccino'. A traditional cappuccino is 5oz and specialty coffee is already viewed as pretentious by the general population (gen-pop... see, makes you cringe doesn't it?) without fedora-wearing, monotone scrote-totlers asking baristas for 'trad capps'...

Barista: "Morning, :) how's it going what can I getcha"
Kale Quinoa Chips III: "Yahh mahhnn can I just get liiike a trad capp like for here"
Barista: >:(

FaceBook Non-trad

Just like the non-traditional students you had in your college classes, these baby boomer facebookers are usually female and feel the need to comment on EVERYTHING that ANY of their friends post on facebook.
These people obviously need to get a life. They have way to much time on their hands.
(These women are also usually oblivious to their own kids drunken escapades all over the FB world.)

Ted: I had to unfriend that beeyotch.
Brad: Why?
Ted: She was such a FaceBook Non-Trad...always commenting on stupid crap and filling up my news feed.
