Car Starter

To get a girl all "fired up" and then have someone else step in and take her away.

I felt like such a car starter when David walked out with that girl I had been talking too all night.

Chasing cars

If you're trying to get with someone way above your level of attractiveness...like way way way way way above your level of attractiveness.

A.) You'll never catch one.
B.) You wouldn't know what to do with one if you caught it, which you won't.

Let her go

A police vehicle. So called because they are usually black and white, resembling the fur of a panda. See also, panda.

Slow down man, I think I see a panda car hiding up ahead.

flying car

The idea of a cheap family vehicle that uses powered flight instead of rolling along on the ground. Popularized by cartoons and science fiction, it was widely expected in the late 20th century to become a reality "real soon now."

In common usage, it represents a shattered hope for the future.

Carbon nanotubes? That's great, but where's my fucking flying car already?
