Jersey Girl

As pretty as a sunset on Delaware Bay and with curves like the winding country roads in Salem county. Aggressive as a bull just out of the shute at Cowtown but as sweet as the honey they sell at Monroeville. As sensual as a Renault Wine in Egg Harbor City and at the same time as cute as tiger cubs at the Bridgeton Zoo. With all the power and majesty of the waves breaking on Brigantine Island during a storm and all the gentleness of the peach orchards of Mullica Hill swaying in the breeze.

Ain't nothing in the world like a Jersey Girl.......especially a "South" Jersey Girl

I love "Jersey Girls". They are the best.

Jersey seashells

Plastic tampon applicators. Particularly the old pink Playtex brand. These non-biodegradeable goodies were particularly prolific along the Mid-Atlantic coast in the '80s and '90s. Fortunately, you don't see them as much today.

We don't go to that beach anymore, there are too many Jersey seashells in the sand.

Jersey Foul

A jersey foul is the act of wearing a professional or collegiate sports jersey in a manner that could potentially label the wearer as a douchebag. The jersey foul is typically unbeknownst to the wearer.

1. Putting your own first or last name on the back of a professional or college sports jersey.
2. Putting the name of a player on the back of a team's jersey for whom the player never actually played for.
3. Cutting two different player jerseys in half and having them sewn together to create a hybrid name and number of both players. Cutting the same player's home and away jersey in half and sewing them together is also a foul.
4. Wearing a jersey to a game where neither the player or team of said jersey is playing in that game.
5. Putting the classic name of a hallowed sports figure on the back of his team's jersey when the player never actually had his name on the jersey itself due to the team's uniform standards during that period of time (i.e. putting "Ruth" on the back of a Yankee's jersey with the number 3)
6. Custom making a jersey with the nickname of a famous athlete on the back of the teams jersey with the player's number.
7. A jersey foul constitutes putting any name or phrase on the back of a professional or collegiate sports jersey which does not correspond with an actual player name past or present that physically played for that particular team.

Exceptions to this rule are children under the age of 12, the mentally handicapped, and occasionally women.

Never again will I invite Mark to share my season tickets due to his constant jersey fouling.

Jersey devil

This is when you have a woman perform fellatio after having intercourse during her period.

I gave her the Jersey Devil. Did you give her the Jersey Devil?

dirty jersey

A term used to describe MOST(the best) parts of New Jersey, such as PARTS of North Jersey (201 area, Elizabeth, Newark, Etc.), and parts of South Jersey. For some reason, middle class white kids from suburbia NJ aka Sussex County like to say they are from the real Dirty Jerz. Sorry to burst your bubble kiddies, but... no.

Jersey Accent

The most argued accent in the country. A lot of people in New Jersey dont have the accent. But a lot of the state do, some thicker than most. Most of the south part of the state don't have an accent and also in North West jersey where the accent isn't as common. The accent is mostly found in the North Eastern region of the state like Bergen, Hudson, Passaic, Essex, and Union counties.
The accent is similar to the NY accent but at times there is a distinct difference that most people cannot tell apart.
No one says Joisey for the record, it is just a myth.. but you can come accross a few that do but very rarely, and there usually on the death bed border.

The areas where you'd find the Strongest accents in Jersey are Jersey City, Newark, Hackensack, and Paterson.

-You say coffee and dog funny.. are you from NY

- No, thats a jersey accent.
