flesh fridge in the kitchen

An unavoidable mass of flesh that keeps your fresh produce chilled, requiring the attention of all near it. Smells vaguely of rotten cheese...

Often used to designate an obvious topic that needs to be addressed.

John: Hey Nick!
Nick: What?
John: We need to talk about the flesh fridge in the kitchen...

tour de fridge

Australian slang. A group of friends get together, go to one person's house, and drink all the alcohol in that person's fridge. They then travel to the next location, usually by biking, scootering, or walking, to drink all the alcohol in the next friend's fridge. This process is repeated until the group of friends have visited all of each others houses and drank all of the alcohol in each of their friends' fridges.

This is usually performed on the last day of year 12, however, tour de fridge is not limited to this occasion.

Person 1: Hey, I reckon we should start tour de fridge off at Davo's house.
Person 2: Yeah, sounds good mate. Tommo's house is one block over so reckon we'll go there next.

Opening the fridge door

The phrase “I keep opening the fridge door means just what it sounds like but also applies to phones. You open the fridge door when you’re bored and don’t know what you want to eat or what to do. This can also be applied to apps you may open on your phone but don’t really want to, you’re just bored or not sure what to do.

Example 1: *opens fridge door* “What am I doing? I don’t want to open this.” *few seconds later* “Can I stop opening the fridge door? I’m not even hungry.”

Example 2: *after several minutes of opening random phone apps and locking and unlocking your phone.* “I keep opening the fridge door” *locks phone only to immediately unlock it again for no reason* “Dangit!” *tosses phone beside self*

"No, it's in the fridge-de-sac, and we don't have a nuclear powered fork lift."

2. "I think there's a cricket under the fridge, it's driving me crazy"
"The Black Hole will get it."

Fridge logic

Moving shit around in a fridge to fit other shit in. This is generally used in small fridges with large bottles and or foodstuffs. Fridge logic can also be used when trying to fit people (generally dead) into a frige without a large area for body-storage. here are a few ways to best use fridge logic:

1. remove shelves, allowing you to fit larger items in.

2. put the item through a woodchipper. it will then take up less space and will be easier to manipulate (and identify)

3. Get a bigger fridge.

If the items still do not fit in the fridge. they probably do not belong in a fridge and should be stored up your ass.

Harlee: "How are we gonna fit the Passion pop into that tiny fridge?"
Scotty: *Removes shelves and throws into motel room* "there."
Harlee: "Nice fridge logic."
