'Well, because demonization is an effective tool for ideological control and if we don't demonize them people will imitate them or won't be incentivized be more like me.' There it is. They're part of the famous Jaguar Pride marching band. And they're pretty much known to be the hottest group of girls at the school, other than the dance team. Also, just about half of them are known to be loved by one particular section. While LOTS of drama and scandal happens every week, they still come together and perform their very best in the end. The band members are proud to call them apart of the band.
That one particular section: The south color guard is soooo hot!
Other band member: Yeah. Have you seen them perform?? They're AMAZING!!
A guard doesn't change because someone is desperate to get themselves let in.
It was never going to be her shack and it was never going to be her guard, because there was no such thing as her going back in time and being originally from the city she was trying to claim as her own. She didn't even hold her own town sacred, but her town was her business. Nobody from the other town was changing the guard to her, giving her the key to anything, or letting her take theirs, as some people did hold their town sacred.
