ok ya emo is a type of music that is usually refered to as screamo... but the word emo has a different meaning..... to be emo means to cut ur self.... its not always on ur wrist... it could be anywhere on your body. if you think som1 is emo... talk to them DONT judge them.... usually somthing is going on and they have no one to talk to... so they cut... some cut because its a pain that they can see, feel, and control unlike the pain they r prolly feeling inside.
emo people will occasionally wear tight pants, black, scarfs ect. but not all. bottom line: DONT BE STERIOTIPICAL

Emo is short for emotional, a four syllable longer word. Emo people may be more sensitive, or live their lives more guided by feelings.
Emo people do not have to be self-destructive, they usually rely on feelings more than reasoning.
Emo, short for emotional bitchass, is a person with little to no mental sanity. Emo’s typically don’t make it to the 10th grade, due to either suicide, or are imprisoned for shooting up their local Walmart. Emo’s typically have more cuts than a steakhouse. Emo’s are likely to be “depressed”, and always complain about how bad their middle class family is for not buying them a new pet to torture. Emo’s are also know to masturbate to gore porn, and human suffering. Emo’s like to wear jean jackets with a skull and bones t-shirt, with ripped jeans, so you can see their bleeding wounds from last night. An Emo’s natural habitat is Hot Topic, where they can congregate with fellow psychologically challenged individuals, and talk about who is next on their sacrifice list. If you spot an Emo, run for your life, because they will most likely cast a spell on you if you look at them the wrong way.

Emo something that a lot of kids nowadays don't care about and say false shit about. you can still find them through 6th -10th grade and even adults are it. Emos are NOT people that cry and shit, they like the music and the way they dress. and mostly make memes of bands so if you have a problem with that fuck off

The cousin to the Goths, the shy Emo is an interesting and not very well documented species as they tend to hide in their nests. What we do know about them, however, is that they came in many different subspecies that have their own way of living.
It is a miscommunication through what scientists theorized as a translation error that Emos are sad pieces of shit that self harm and wallow in self sorrow all the time, but this is far from the truth. Yes one of the subspecies do tend to self harm and have a higher suicide rate, but there's many others that have happy and healthy lifes and just tend to use the Emo lifestyle.
The sad fact is though, that the Emo population has decreased do to their habitats, band concerts such as My Chemical Romance, being taken away, or more commonly referred to as 'disbanded.' They still have some mating sites like Hot Topic and Panic! At the Disco, but that doesn't change their alarming population change. Scientists theorize that one of the reasons is do to the miscommunication stated above.
When finding a mate to add to their friend group, the Emos use a special mating call that usually sounds like this:
'When I was a young boy...'
'The groom's bride is a...'
'Can you save my heavydirtysoul...'
"I feel bad for my little girl. She hides in her room and listens to *whispers* emo. I think she might be self harming or even suicidal."
"You're kidding, right? Just because she plays Fall Out Boy and Panic! At-"
"And the Pilots and Chemical Romances."
"Twenty One Pilots and My Chemical Romance. But just because of her music choice or her clothing style doesn't mean shit. Even then, crying to sad music or movies or whatever can be a good and healthy outlet if she is sad or depressed."
