An overused term that represents being acquaintances with somebody up through being a person’s actual best friend. It has blurred the lines between the strength of relationships and you never really know where you stand with somebody if they use this regularly.
Friend: This is my new bestie Kevin. We just added each other on Snap yesterday.
You: Haven’t we known each other for years? I thought we were actual besties.
Friend: Yea but you know what I mean.
Me: Haha no I don’t.
A person who would walk through hell for you. You two do everything together go see movies, go to party's, etc. You will know when you find the one. Best friends will never go besides the Girl Code, ( If they know what's best for them.)Your best friend is someone that you can tell all of your secrets.

A code against girls:
don't date exes.
don't do things without them.
never wear something that looks good on you, but bad on her.
don't show off towards her.
Always call her your bestie
The person you can talk to all the time for hours on end, and then not talk to them for 3 days and still be friends!
Someone who you can count on to always help you when you really need it, but when you trip they will laugh.
You're bestie is always gonna be there for you, except they never will be at the same time!
It is DIFFERENT from a best friend.

Person 2: no I can't, I have guitar practice.
Person 1: this is the third week that we haven't hung out! But I'm sure we can next time!
