Blue Valentine

Generally a divorce or a breakup between two people in a relationship is known as Blue Valentine. When this word is use it refers to the eternal bond breakage between two souls who can't be separated in any terms. Blue Valentine is used for those who are meant for each other but due to some misunderstanding or any other reason, now separated.

Monica: Hey what happened to Rachel? Why she's sad?
Phoebe: It's because of misunderstanding between her and Ross.
Monica: I thought everything was sorted out between them.
Phoebe: No, the situation is worse. They just celebrated their Blue Valentine yesterday.

Blue toast

When you go to see a Korean prostitute, and she she has both of you rinse with mouthwash before getting in the shower.

Went to see that new Korean girl advertising. When I got there she took the money, we undressed, blue toast and then into the shower.

The Blue Stuff

The best of the best. Slang inspired by AMC's "Breaking Bad", in which the main characters Walt and Jesse make the most pure crystal meth around and due to the chemical formula of the substance, it is colored blue.

You gonna try out that new burger place in town? Their burgers are the blue stuff.

Moody Blues

A British pyschedelic/progressive rock band from the '60s that is often overlooked for other bands such as Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, King Crimson, Genesis, and Electric Light Orchestra. Their signature sound was due to Mike Pinder with his Mellotron and Ray Thomas with his flute. The Moody Blues was the first rock band to feature a flute as a main instrument, not Jethro Tull, and the first rock band to record an album with an orchestra.

The most famous Moody Blues song is Nights In White Satin.

blue blood

Comes from the medieval belief that aristocratic blood was blue. Usually used talking about nobelty and royal family members.

There's too much blue blood in this family! They really should mix with the common people otherwise they'll degenerate...
