There are two types of emos. One considers itself genuine and the other a poser. They are virtually indistinguishable and both are equally tiresome to anyone who has managed to mature past using "rawr" and making claw hands.
So and so dresses like me and likes the same music, but they're not a real emo. They just saw it on tv and thought it was cool.

Some people may think the word Emo as a phase. They think of it as a bad thing. Emo is short for "Emotional" wich, there are many emotions. Such as Happiness, saddness, anger, etc. You can be emo, in a happy way, Or in a sad way. so if anyone calls you emo, reply with "everyone is". They'll think you're so dumb, they'll shut up.
You're like, really emo.
A teen that thinks it's so cool to be depressed all the time. They generally wear black clothing and listen to sad songs.

The most understood group of people, Who do not cut there selfs. Emo is a fashion that emerged from a style of music. The style of fashion includes long black hair, parted to one side of the face, skinny jeans, and Band T-Shirts.
