An emo, also known as the average LeafyIsHere fan. LeafyIsHere being the lord and savior of the Emonian empire. An emo can be described as a long haired suicdal creature. It has a bizarre tendency to do a combination of a selfie and the 'perfect' emoji sometimes.
There goes the emo again, watching all those PowerPoint presentations and hating his dad.
1) Behavior of an emo - Emo's usually behave as if they were depressed, but they are truly not. They tell dark jokes just to go with their outfit, and how they talk. They are very socially awkward, and will avoid you if you are a normal person. If you do try to communicate they will act shy, because nobody has given them attention like you have in years, and they finally get a single shred of evidence that they are living an embarrassing facade. They will instantly have a huge crush on you once you do communicate with them...
2) Clothing - Usually strange items you've never seen before, and when you try to study them you almost gag at why they are wearing them. They wear things like, mini hand cuffs on their bracelets that also happen to be black leather or a silver metal. They also add to their apparel a half shaven head with their hair swept to the side.
3) Hobbies - Usually drawing, or something that is kind of depressing like singing quiet songs or watching anime cartoons. Sometimes they are pretty good artists, and sometimes the stuff the draw will require 8 gallons of bleach for your eyeballs.
I personally dont see why someone would do something like, becoming an emo just for attention. Its sick. Enjoy life because you're gonna be 83 years old realizing that you did nothing but act sad your whole life just because you wanted someone to notice you. fuck off m8

a slur used for strong black women to degrade them similar to the n word but more derogatory this is often used by white boys who are also EMO as a defense mechanism for their lack of fatherly love growing up as a child

emo's are people how like to express their feelings through song or poetry.We dont hate the world, we just want to feel loved by others, we're just a little lonely, and confused, (thats perfectly normal, anyway, like, who here doesnt get lonely or confused about something?, i dont get why people see as as freaks!) We're perfectly normal, we're just a bit more emotional than others.Not all emo's cut them selves, you dont need to cut yourself to become emo, yeah we do cut ourselves, but we seldomly do that, we just cut ourselves sometimes because it helps us feel something but again you really dont need too if you dont want to.Emo's are very affectionate, and actually very nice, we dont listen to music because its different and probably wierd to you haters, we listen to music because we can relate to it, because we could see the meaning in the lyrics.When emo's want something , we go for it, we dont care if others dont like it as long as we're happy with it. Emo's are not lowlifes who do nothing but lock their selves in their rooms and cry every night. we can have fun too, we can laugh and make jokes too, we have our own lives too!Maybe if you haters get to know us better you'll probably like us alot.Being emo is my own way of expressing myself, and its my own way of solving my problems.Any way thanks for reading this and i hope it helps you understand a little more about emos... An emo is not what you think em is can be very lovable people and technically there should not be something called emo unless it’s the true term for a emotional hardcore punk rock song style you should bever call someone emo because they could look mean or depressed on the outside but they might be a happy person and you could hurt their feelings. In fact I have been called an emo before by my mother and father along with my brother...... they said I act like one becaus I wear black sometimes ( black sweatshirt with white lettering and black leggings ) it doesn’t help they said that I have pink hair so that doesn’t help ( I dye my hair to express myself) I have something called a depressed face, my face makes me look mad or sad when I make a straight face ( my family didn’t know how much I laugh in school....) I laugh a lot and just because someone has dyed hair and a face like mine and wears black some days doesn’t make them emo and it will hurt if you call someone emo ( trust me I know how it feels ( plus I’m proud to be emo if people use it he correct way- the ‘lovable, happy’ ones plus I wear cute kid pjs and I love rainbows and colors and just little baby’s and animals )

What my brother says: she’s just an emo that listens to k-pop, she will never get a boyfriend, plus she’s so depressed

There are four different type of emo people:
#1 Someone who self harms and pretends to be depressed for attention
#2 Someone who is truly depressed and self harms, but feels guilty and tries to hide their cuts
#3 Someone who is edgy or...
The actual kind of emo #4 People who like the emo subculture. They dress in band t-shirts such as Black Veil Brides or Panic! at the Disco. or they just dress in black clothing. They either like the "sucky" music people have been talking about or they listen to truly good emo music such as Black Veil Brides, My Chemical Romance or Panic! at the Disco or other bands such as Green Day, Linkin Park, etc. Some emo people have friends and others have no friends and are lonely and so being emo is their only escape. The emo subculture is truly misunderstood because of all the posers and so that is why emos get so much hate. So please, stop hating on emos.
