Similar to "Eff them;" a derogatory remark used by a person or group to another party they do not get along with. If someone says "screw em," they will create tension on the already failing relationship.

Origin- a really fucking burntout dude walks up to these guys as they are pouring water over a dude's jeep in the middle of winter. He is so burntout he suspects that the Jeep's owner is inside, and he asks "What, are ya freezin em in there?"
"Yeah, that shit is tight, it freezes you in really quick"
