When you sign-up you receive a top-secret file containing your target's information. To "kill" your target, you must follow the pattern to make a weapon (a pair of socks) for your event, and mail it to your target. Your target is "dead" when they receive your weapon. Your target then sends their incomplete weapon to you, along with their target's information, and you complete their weapon to kill their target. At the same time you are trying to kill your target, your assassin is trying to kill you.

Total war is a conflict of unlimited proportions in which a faction mobilizes all available resources in order to destroy another faction's ability to defend it self.
Good and evil remain engaged in total war for all of time, manifesting their battle fields in many ways but always their core remain the same, love verses hatred, from slavery verses abolition too depression verses happiness, total war continues.

Barf Wars
A post-party activity (usually performed by college students) in which participants attempt to vomit more grotesquely than the other players. The winner is usually characterized by the loudest “gag” reverberation, and/or the player with the most vomit material produced. Frequently takes place over the edge of a balcony; preferably onto your neighbors patio furniture, or a well-groomed garden. Deriving its name from the infamous “Star Wars”, the game has been passed down through oral tradition in specific regions throughout California. Though the creator(s) are unknown, it is widely believed they expired from internal hemorrhage and/or alcoholism.
"Dude, Danny just projectile-vomited past that fern, so he is definitely the winner of Barf Wars."
"Darren almost died the last time we played Barf Wars."
"Steven never wants to play Barf Wars again; last time he puked on his dog."
