Supposedly ironic with their morbid "cute" things.
It's Bad whiney music with beautiful boys and emotional/angry choruses. The girls all think they're bi, the boys wished they were half into girls.

Many people think of emo as a type of person that self harms, wears skinny jeans, wears black everything & listens to rock. But, that is not at all what it means. "Emo" isn't even a way to describe a person. Unless you're using it as a shortcut to emotional. Emo is a type of music. It's own genre. People that stereo type people and call them emo have no idea what the true definition of it is. But, this is it. It can only be used as a music term.
My Chemical Romance is considered an emo band.
