An audio or visual that is so effective it cancels out old memories with new ones that are forever seared in your mind and instantly call up bad feelings like sexual disturbance, shame, angst, hatred of humankind, or general ickyness.

Not caring what critics say of your creative work because you know your work is good and you like it and that's all that matters. Inspired by Robert Rodriguez's film and television career: he wrote and directed The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl which was panned by critics, but the quirks and general weird vibes that defined the film are what sets it apart from other children's films and are the reason we're still talking about it.
(In 2020, Rodriguez directed The Tragedy, the 14th episode of The Mandalorian, which was met with critical acclaim and regarded by many as the best episode of the series. Do with that what you will.)
I was sad when my professor said my design wasn't successful during review, but then The Rodriguez Effect kicked in and I felt better instantly because I love my design and I know I'm already a legend.
