Supervirgin Mode

The state of being that describes someone who is a supervirgin. Abbreviated as SVM.

-Instead of going to hang out with us tonight, she's gonna stay home and study for a test there's no way she could possibly fail...

Birdshit Mode

Adjective; typically referring to a character in video gameplay (but can extend to real life circumstances) when 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 is literally so impossibly low that “a bird shitting on you” would kill you, hence the term “birdshit mode”. This term is typically used to convey your status to your teammate(s) during Co-op gameplay

Originating in Port Jefferson NY in 1998 during gameplay on the PlayStation video game console while playing the game “Twisted Metal 2”.

While engaging in gameplay and your character 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 is so impossibly low

Dark Mode

An increasingly popular feature in software and websites that makes the background dark or black, which is easy on the eyes when browsing at night. It is particularly effective with AMOLED displays (as opposed to LCD) as the pixels emit little to no light.

Once you discover dark mode, there's no returning back to light mode. As a night owl, it is seriously such an essential feature I cannot live without. How nobody thought to implement dark mode back in the 2000s is beyond me.

For PC/Mac users: To enable dark mode on every website, install the chrome extension 'Dark Reader'.
For Rooted Android users: To enable dark mode on almost every app, download 'Swift Installer'.

mission mode

An extreme sense of task orientation that causes a person (usually male) to focus exclusively on the job at hand at the expense of social graces and pleasantries.

My wife: "I know we're going on a long trip... But we're packed now so you can at least smile. No need to be in mission mode all the time!"

Dude Mode

When a chick decides she is going to give up lame chick emotions, and treat relationships how dudes do. This commonly refers to relationships with the status of "fuck buddies", "friends with benefits", and just general dude style hedonism. The chick needs to be careful not to let her emotions creep up on her, or else dude mode will immediately, and possibly irreversibly, be switched off.

"All my friends and relatives are asking me why I don't have a boyfriend, but I'm just in dude mode right now. I don't want all the drama attached to relationships, I just want to have fun."

3AM Mode

The time of day, starting at 3AM or later until you sleep/pass out, when your body, void of alcohol, decides that you are drunk, high etc.

I didn't mean to offend you last night. You know I was on 3AM Mode.

Joemama mode

A term used by people who are sexually attracted to horses, and love cumming inside of them. Often said when getting shit on in Valorant and attempts to hype themselves up.

I'm about to go Joemama mode on these kids!
