The most toxic side of the community. People here are sensitive and will try to stir up any type of argument with you even when you are agreeing with them, almost like they have no life outside of TikTok. They have little to no sense of humor and can't seem to understand or take a simple joke. This is like Twitter but on TikTok.
Most are often Societal Narcissists; believing that they are so much more superior and unique just because they are on alt side TikTok and will shit and look down on anyone using anything outside Alt TikTok such as Instagram Reels, straight TikTok, etc. And because they believe their aesthetic is so much better than anyone else's. They are not as united as they will even attack their own people for whatever random reasons, usually boredom.
They usually post stuff with their face staring into the camera with hyper-pop music and text over; usually saying stuff like
"Please tell me that I am not the only one who's FYP is blah blah"
"Why do men? Kill all men!"
"Fighting the urge to blah blah when you blah"
"POV: You can dress well"

Alt has many different subcultures such as: goth,emo,grunge,scene,punk , etc. Please do not call an alternative H U M A N an emO or a big iddy goth gf unless they give you permission. Some alt music artists: Simple plan , Nirvana , 3 doors down , Alice in chains, 10,000 maniacs , Radiohead , R. E. M. , Red hot chilli peppers , the 1975 , violent femmes , weezer, 30 seconds to mars , etc. You don't have to like all this music, or even any, to be alternative don't worry. Some alt fashion expla.: Alternative fashion is similar to that of punk and goth. Music is the central element, while fashion and visuals are optional. However, the label "alternative fashion" has transformed to become any fashion outside of the mainstream. When most people think of alternative fashion, they think of Punk , Goth , emo , lolita , pastel goth , kawaii , or maybe even indie fashion!Although alternative fashion is often a combination of these styles, it is not limited to them. For instance, Fairy Kei could be considered alternative fashion since it is outside the mainstream.
