Quite literally a merge between a trendy and a geek.
Rarer than the trendy, the trendy-geek is usually identifiable by having slightly geeky attire and usually glasses, yet hangs around primarily with trendies.
Most likely to be found sipping a Guinness and playing pool in a trendy club with pinpoint accuracy.
Unfortunately like the trendy, the whole geeky facade is pretty much that, a facade. You could almost say they are a poser geek. And they will have activities like a "Warcraft" account, counter strike, watching Red Dwarf, maybe even LARP, in a desire to look original. Yet they'll also like the typical trendy interests too, like "celebs", and football and One night stands etc...
Clothing is usually strictly trendy, usually the only thing that separates a trendy-geek is usually small things like less "cool" hair and glasses. Or most likely, an aversion to being as rowdy as their trendy peers.
They may also say they like metal in a craving to be "Individual", but by that they mean they've listened to poser-metal like Bullet For My Valentines most popular song.
Guy 1: WTF that trendy looks like a geek, and he was just talking about computers instead of weight training.
Trendy-Geek: Oh my god, I'm like so geeky!1 I have a WoW account and I watch geeky things like Dr. Who!!1 And I've played the most mainstream Final Fantasy all the way through!1
Trendy: Shall we go clubbin'?
Trendy-Geek: Yeah, "sick" mate! (I can go and attention seek by pretending to be really geeky, which is what I do every friggin' day!)

To spend an ammount of time discussing geekish things with other geeks, or to participate in geeky undertakings and pasttimes with one or more other geeks.
Geek 1: Wow.. how long have we been talking about World of Darkness?
Geek 2: Hm.. seems we've been geeking out for about three hours now

One who will rule the world with his multi-million dollar company, and wreak great havoc on the world that once made fun of him, i.e. donkeypunching the captain of the cheerleader squad 10 years after high school and framing the football quarter-back for insurance fraud since was to dumb to do his own taxes.
Man, I wish I would have been a band geek so I could have donkey punched Jessica and framed Hudson for insurance fraud.

One who frequently enjoys galavanting in a band-like environment, which includes but is not limited to, the band room, the football field, technique block, on a bus with a multitude of other fellow band members, and usually in a dark closet practicing music. Activities include playing, whistling, humming, playing, walking in a penguin-like manner, playing, wearing the most fashionable form of overalls, and playing. Those students of the band variety typically inbreed within the close quarters of their band room, mating to the sounds of g minor scales and tri-tones. (Band directors have tried but cannot prevent this historic practice). In their natural environment, band members can typically be found on friday nights on the football field caged in like zoo animals, desperately begging for the attention of their ashamed peers, and playing things nobody seems to care about nor understands.
In short, every school has them.
Oh look they're showing the band geek exhibit! Just don't tap the glass or they might become hostile and jazz run as a stampede.

A Bus Geek is a slang term for someone who rides Public Transportation for purposes of entertainment. Bus Geeks are generally students from schools that provide unlimited passes, as these students may be new to the city and enjoy riding around to explore.
Jeez, i can never find that girl! she's such a bus geek!

a guy or girl that is a geek but a really cute geek and you call them a geek muffin as a term of affection, not an insult. they are really rad, fun to be with, have awesome taste in music, and make you happy whenever your with them.
He is my geek muffin, he like loves computers, but he's still uber cute.

Somebody who thinks that having the latest technological gadget or operating system from Apple Inc. is the most important thing to be concerned about in the world.
You will usually find them wearing black turtlenecks or other casual clothing in a coffee-shop with an Ipod in their ear, surfing the web on their i-phone, or whatever brand of apple laptop they currently spent too much money on.
They generally enjoy bashing anything that has to do with any other operating system and will get infuriated if you talk fondly about Bill Gates.
Some of these mac-geeks are rumored to actually worship Steve Jobs or get tattos of the Apple logo on their body. I kid you not.
