She wants to become a famous pop singer to fullfill a promise she made but is prevented by her Grandma who hates All music, and the fact that Mitsuki has throat cancer. Then one day, a couple of shinigami come to take her soul. However she negotiates with them and becomes "Full Moon" a talented sixteen year old pop singer. After becoming "Full Moon" Mitsuki runs away form home. She is a very sad girl who stuggles between staying alive or succumbing to her disease. If you read "Full Moon" you'll ger why. (By the way "Mitsuki" is the Japanese word for "Full Moon")

The act of stealing a sip of somebody's drink (usually when they are not looking). Usually employed by those who are unemployed.
There are many levels of moon dogging, and beginners should be careful when practicing the more advanced techniques.
Level 1 - The Basic Moon Dog: Stealing a sip of a drink from somebody while in plain sight.
Level 2 - The Proper Moon Dog: Stealing a sip of a drink from somebody while their back is turned or while they are distracted. Beginners usually perform this in teams of two.
Level 3 - The Full Moon Dog: Stealing somebody's entire drink while they aren't looking. The moon-dogger usually moves to the other end of the bar at this point to finish the drink out of the mark's view.
Level 4 - The Moon Coon: Stealing somebody's entire drink and passing it on to somebody else. The recipient of the drink doesn't necessarily have to know that he or she is drinking a stolen beverage. Hilarity usually ensues.
"Holy shit! Where's my drink?"
"Dude, I think somebody's moon-dogging around here."

Taking very large doses of diphenhydramine, a anti-histamine over the counter allergy remedy, to experience sedation and vivid visual and auditory hallucinations. Abuse of diphenhydramine incredibly dangerous because it puts you in a state of pure delirium. Long term abuse of diphenhydramine has been linked to brain tumors.
Person A: Lets go over to Peter's house.
Person B: No way man that guy is blue mooning on Benadryl. He is Insane!
Person A: You're right people shouldn't be getting high off allergy medication.

A boot invented by Tecnica in the early 1970's that resembled those used on the Apollo 11 Moon landing.
Though often imitated, the original Moon Boot is the only one that will carry the name Moon Boot as Tecnica owns the trademark.
Knock-offs are everywhere - keep it real.
Those Moon Boots give you mad flavor.

An anime run on Japanese television from 1992-1997, and American television from 1995-2001 (?). Later made into a live action version with kawaii plushie kitties (sarcasm). Prior to and during the years of broadcasts of the anime it was published in the magazine Nakayoshi and collected to a 18 tankobon manga. A spin-off of not as popular manga Codename wa Sailor V by the same mangaka: Takeuchi Naoko. A target of many anti-shrines, and H-doujin possibly because of its notoriety inside and outside of Japan. (do you see any anti-shrines of Serial Experiments Lain?). The manga was later re-collected into a gensaku edition that only consisted of 12 volumes (more acts per volume) and featured revised artwork.
I used to watch Sailor Moon, but then Sailor Luna came and scared me shitless.
