To be so blatantly lied to and misled that you are completely unaware of reality and the true ramifications of supporting a political candidate, colleague at work, friend or family member in their evil and self-centered endeavors.

The board of trustees gave us all a Rove-Job last quarter on that new stock-option plan. My shares crashed and they all got rich before we knew what was happening!

A contraction for "government job." A questionable act, usually using public funds or resources, performed by a public employee geared toward personal or political gain. At times, this act may be preceeded by some degree of coercion or veiled threat from persons in authority.

Tommy is supposed to be checking for loose manhole covers, but he's really on a g-job painting the mayor's house.

A pimp job is an unsportsmanlike baseball celebration where a batter moves too slowly around the bases after hitting a home run to taunt the opposing team.

Chris hit an awesome home run to give us back the lead, but his pimp job around the bases nearly started a brawl.

job 2.0

A Job 2.0 is a job that allows you to have freedom from traditional work schedules and locations. Usually (but not necessarily) something that takes place on the internet and can be done from most anywhere.

"Hey it's Wednesday afternoon, want to meet me at the pool for a few drinks."
"Sure, thanks to my Job 2.0 as a freelance writer, I have the flexibility to join you!"

Or in more extreme scenarios:

"Hey I was thinking it would be fun to spend a few months in Asia.. want to join?"
"That sounds like a blast! Thanks to my Job 2.0 as a (programmer | graphic designer | street performer | internet mogul) I can live anywhere. Let's do it!"
