With school ending at 3:00pm, and after school sports beginning at 3:30, 3:20 becomes the perfect balance between dressing out and doing your business with just enough time to make It to practice. Similar to 4:20, the phrase was coined after a group of friends realized that everyday before track practice, they all took a poop at the similar time of 3:20.
