I know this already exists, but those were from 2019. They ended up fixing Sonic and the movie actually turned out to be pretty good, if a bit by the numbers, and it also made enough moolah to get a sick looking sequel. Sega, take notes from Paramount on this one, and actually make a good Sonic Game (Mania doesn't count, that was mostly outsourced)

A fan-made character which has Sonic the Hedgehog dressed up as Beat, the main protagonist of the Jet Set Radio series. This concept was brought to life due to the similarities both characters from SEGA had including being laid back and not afraid to bend the rules.

Sonic Eclipse Online (Also known as SEO) is an incomplete Roblox fangame that attempts to recreate the gameplay from the Sonic Adventure line of games. As of recent, the game has been getting a lot of backlash for not being worked on fast enough, and the allegations against the development team. (Google "DoctorRofatnik" for more information.)
