People that have a lot of followers on twitter but are nobodies, but think their someone because they may or may not have bought their followers. This may range from people putting fake verification signs next to name or actually writing verified. These people have a lot more followers than following and seem to feel that people look up to them when in all actuality . . no one doesnt care.

twitter is one of the richest companies in the world and can easily afford to hire staff to find inappropriate accounts to report and suspend but why bother when there is plenty of slacktivists that will do the job for free.
