Colin Firth Week is a 7 day long celebration of the British actor Colin Firth. It is celebrated from the 1st-7th October and is celebrated by watching media he has been in. The week builds up to National Colin Firth Day which is celebrated on the last day October 7th. Colin Firth's legacy is also commonly celebrated on his birthday (September 10th).

An Instagram page dedicated to a week of horrors in February 2018 at Carmel High School in Indiana. The page showcased memes from the many fights in commons, the school shooting scare in C lunch, the 3.5 seconds & puppies speech by Dr. Humus, and the Friday where nobody went to school. The account quickly amassed a large following among Carmel students by gaining over 1,000 followers within a day of being created. The account now has over 4,300 followers and has made more recent posts about the electricity bills, the $25 charge to park in the lot, meme day, and most recently the explosion. Carmel Hell Week provides all the memes, videos, and news about Carmel High School that the administration tries to keep secret. Because of this the account has continued to grow and become a big part of the current Carmel student body culture.

The "Three-Week" theory is a developmental hypothesis stating that any obsession that occurs past the length of three consecutive weeks will become cemented within the personality and manner of the obsessor.
The "Three-Week" theory begins with an individual learning about or re familiarizing themselves with a certain subject. This subject can be a person, place, thing, or idea. The obsessor throws their entire physical, mental, and spiritual selves into the study, following, and application of said subject. While most cases of hardcore obsession cease after a period spanning anywhere from fifteen minutes to two weeks, the obsessors in these cases prolong their obsession to the length of a three-week period. Once this three week period is hit, the obsession has been proven to occupy a small but significant portion of the obsessors brain. At this point, the impact of the obsession will now become long-lasting, or in some cases, permanent. Most obsessors may be aware after the three-week period that their obsession has reached the point of no return, though some obsessors lack the self-awareness to recognize the unnatural nature of their obsession.
