is an action of clapping your hands as to punctuate what one is saying. It expresses great emotion such as excitement, eagerness and anger. One would thug clap it out if a situation arose of necessary heightened emotion.

the act of clapping because you feel bad for the person(s) you are clapping for. It starts out sounding like a slow clap.
