a platonic ideal, an abstraction, a form, an eternal immaterial underlying reality. Political correctness is an ideal whose standards are so unrealistic that no one has ever met them and all instances we encounter in this material world of it are but deformed and imperfect copies of that ideal. No novel is politically correct. No play is politically correct. No poem. No film. No song. No speech. No president. No talk show, organization or law is perfectly politically correct. And yet we are still punished for failing to meet its ungodly demands.
Shakespeare, Milton, Plato, Kant, D.H. Lawrence and Homer are but a few names in the hall of shame of political incorrectness. So what chance does an average Joe have of ever demonstrating pure political correctness?

Turncoats, party switchers, any action by politicians done obviously for self gain, fame and nothing else related to public service with favors or exchange perceived to be involved.
By filing that case everyone knows is bullshit after receiving budget for so-called projects, it became painfully obvious that senator for many years degraded into a mere political prostitute.

Opportunistically and shallowly marketing an illusion of equality towards historically marginalized groups based on religion, race, gender, etc. for the sake of political or monetary convenience.
Biden: "Get me a list of the 3 trans people in America, I'm gonna hire one!"
Assistant: "Yes, sir, right away, sir."
Assistant 2: "Isn't that cultural appropriation??"
Assistant 1: "No, you're thinking of identity politics."

With negative situations it's always better to be open about them and get them behind you ASAP. If you don't, voters may feel that you're trying to hide something. If your opponent has any sense of campaign tactics you can bet that your opponent has done some "opposition research" on you. It's far better if you take pre-emptive action rather than have your opponent expose the negatives to the voters. You want to be in a position to say that "everyone knows that--it's old news."
