They are derived from staying in self-isolation in your room for too long. Common among gamers, who remain in their rooms for long periods of time without leaving to experience human contact. Therefore, they suffer from brain rot by being with themselves for so long.

When someone has delved into the recesses of twitter and start becoming infected with the obligatory "Twitter brain" where they make hypocritical or geopolitical statements with little to no grounding.

you forget to pick something important up, and now you have to go back and get it when you don't really have the time so you say:
