Lap Slug

A giant, fat, big-assed, hairy cat who lounges on your lap and is very difficult to remove from said lap.

I gave that Lap Slug a solid nudge. She barely stirred, but voiced extreme annoyance at the interruption to her peaceful nap. That "solid nudge" progressed to a solid push, but that Lap Slug wasn't moving come Hell or high water.

slugged up

Slugged up can either mean having a bunch of tattoos or having a permanent grill. Both of the current definitions on here are correct.

The key factor of being slugged up is the permanence of a tattoo or gold crowns which is why both definitions are correct.

One can also say slugged out.

Mike flipped a pack and went got his whole arm slugged out the next day.

Wayne got his teeth knocked out and said fuck it and went got his whole mouth slugged up.

Slug Club

Originating in the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling. Was a play on Professor Slughorn's name and his continual favoritism of students.

(Used usually after the words "in" or "part of".)

To be a teacher's pet without trying or even wanting to be a favorite. Most people in the "Slug Club" are called upon to answer questions, do unnecessary tasks and will receive numerous compliments from their teacher.
The student will be thoroughly embarrassed, which the teacher remains oblivious to.

Student 1: Oh no! Did you see how Professor kept pointing out how perfect my potions were today? How humiliating!

Student 2: Welcome o the Slug Club, mate.
