weeb: somebody interested in anime and Japan, but not over obsessed
weeaboo: somebody that is overobsessed with anime and japan
weeb: i really like anime and all, but I don't like collecting figurines or body pillows
weeaboos: OMG YOU FUCKING NORMIES ANIME AND JAPANESE CULTURE ARE THE BEST! HOW DARE YOU INSULT ANYTHING EVEN RELATED TO IT YOU FUCKING AMERICAN NORMIES!!!!!!!!1!11!
More preferable version off weeaboo. Watches CGDCT anime, has at least one body pillow/waifu or can't decide on one. Used to browse r/animemes, but now browses r/goodanimemes after the T-word revolution brought by the moderates changing a rule without informing or discussing it with the community. May be obsessed with one particular manga/anime character.

A word that is now cancelled and cringe. Basically, when you say you're a weeb, you're saying that you are obsessed with Japan or anime.

A weeb is a person who is obssesed with Japanese culture. Many people make the mistake to say weeb is the one who watches anime and enjoys it. So here is the correct answer

When a person is obsessed with anime and only anime they are know as a weeb but someone who is obsessed with Japan and not Japanese is know as a weeaboo. Do not get them mixed up.
