A word white people will never dare say in public, but think in their heads when confronted by an offending African American for fear of being beaten. In their white enclaves, they use the term freely to describe a bad experience with a darker individual. They often will say "not all blacks are N*****s" after using the term to feel better about saying it. You know, so you don't think they are all racist and such.
Gary: Hey, between me and you since you're white. I think Jamal is a real Nigger.
Dan: Oh ya, I agree completely, he lives off the system and never works. But not all blacks are niggers. There are some white niggers to you know?

Derogatory term used toward blacks. The word nigger sometimes carries more weight than other racial slurs because of the historical charge given to it by events such as slavery and lynchings. This is why cracker sometimes pales in comparison(no pun intended). Not as effective in modern times though because no blacks of this generation have been enslaved. For some reason also, whites are wanting the right to say it so they use excuses like "Well blacks use it why can't I?". But the real question is, why are some whites so desperate to use it and care about using it so much?
