It represents what drove 2pac - his absolute fundamental. Having integrity and staying true, absolutely. He came from the truth and this is the life of a thug. It's a reoccurring theme throughout his entire career. Similarly, being a thug means someone who stays true - doesn't lie, bullshit, cheat or snake.
