Literally, society without government. Initially, it would likely be chaotic, and violent, but may stabilize into a safe system eventually. All this is hypothetical, because there's been no long lasting, large scale example to draw precident from.
Without the police, we would have anarchy.

A thing which, even if it were desirable, would be impossible. There will always be a group of people who are willing to organise themselves and fight for government. They will either kick our asses into submission to a worse from of government, or we will have to organise ourselves, and fight back, meaning that when the conflict is over we'll be left with a government which we'll probably end up keeping by choice, or they'll decide they like having power an force us into it.
Government is no different to anarchy, because government is, in rrality, just a group of people imposing their will on us, so any type of organisation will evolve into a government.

Would never work. Most who support anarchy probably would be the first to go in the actual event of it happening.
Anarchy rocks, lets go to hot topic!

The political ideaology that every one is equal.
The far majority of "anarchists" arn't really anarchists and just say that because it makes them look and "punk."
Also they majority of true anarchists don't know it they olny synonimize anarchy with chaos and nihilation.
Anarchy is simply the idea that no one has any more or less power than yourself. The avarage CEO gets 150x more pay then a floor worker. This huge seperation creates an effect in which the floor workers have to live pay check to pay check, this makes it so the floor workers are wage slaves. Now we are back to slavery which is every thing Abe Lincolin fought to stop.
On another note, what is the point of capitilism? to make some rich and the rest poor. This is all that comes from it. The rich get rich by making the poor poor thats what happens face it. you are being screwed by the government and you employer. The government can do what it wants to with out your consent just as oyur boss does.
There is no point of haveing poor people in this country. If all the rich gave money to the poor there would be only one class, the rich are defined as those who have the most money, so every one would be rich. Equality is the only thing that will come of anarchy.
poser: "im punk and and anarchist, hey look here is my Mercadez im gonna go bathe in money. Yay anarchy."
Real anarchist: "Fuck the government, we need equality and freedom. FUCK THE RICH FEED THE POOR, THE CLASS SYSTEM is NO MORE!"

opposition to government, a place where individual people govern theirselves. people claim that with no government poeple would riot the streets, but since it has never happened, nobody can tell for sure. anarchy is simply a government without a government.

Anarchy is a theoretical form of self-government which is practically unattainable. Historically Anarchy only exists between the shifts between other known forms of government, and it is in fact no government. There are two types of Anarchists: punk rockers, and romantic political philosophers.
The main argument of anarchistic thought is that any appointed, hereditary, or aristocratic government is coersive in nature, and coersion is intrinsically evil. Therefore, all government is inherently evil. The only solution to eliminate coersion in society is to live in the state of anarchy.
The main flaw of this argument is that in order to completely eliminate coersion even in a system of direct democracy there cannot be majority rule, that is the whole society has to unanimously agree on all issues. This is not a practical solution, but a theoretical state of perfect unanimity which is an extreme condition only possible in theory, an utopia.
A state under Anarchy is either a state ruled completely and unanimously by all the people for the people, or a state in civil war.
