comparently

Differences may not be seen in two things until they are compared side by side, then the similarities or differences are apparent.

I always though Jim and Eddy looked the same, but comparently they are different.

Compare

And who are other people going to compare me to?

Hym "Is it... Is it other people? Are the other people going to compare me to other people?"

Iam "They might compare you to you... Sometimes." 🤷

Hym "Maybe if you display a radical change in appearance. Lose or gain a bunch of weight. Get horribly disfigured or something."

Iam "Well... You shouldn't care what other people think about you."

Hym "If my identity is, in part, a matter of consensus; what other people think is perpetually relevant. I have to care what other people think. I don't have a choice."

Iam "Yeah, I don't think it should be a matter of consensus in the first place but I see what you mean... Hmm... Hmm... Does comparison constitute imitating the creature?"

Hym "Technically... Yes... Well... No. The creature cannot compare itself to anything else and, therefore, would make the act of comparison uniquely human. It's too different from anything to compare itself to anything. Humans are alike enough to one another to compare."

Iam "Huh... Right because relativity would only exist within the confines of reality and God exist outside of it... Right?"

Hym "Seems about right. I don't know I'm getting tired. We'll figure out in the morning."

Iam "Aight."
