Gardening has multiple meanings.
Gardening some type of fruit or vegetable doesn't sound too bad right now. A small waterfront neighborhood located in Pompano Beach, Fl. It is inhabited by GI members, who often enjoy gettin them "thursday seshes". Kids here like to refer to themselves as the GIP, or Garden Isles Posse. They enjoy gettin lifted and fucking shit up around the hood. Looking forward to "Tiki Seshes", inhabitants usually cop large amounts of ganja and other mind altering drugs.

A job which many strive for but few achieve success in. It is called a "Garden Job" because if you are attempting to succeed at this career, you should probably plant a garden to make sure you don't starve. A few examples of "Garden Jobs" would be an artist, a famous actor, a YouTuber, etc. Often many young people have convinced themselves that, despite the odds, they will succeed at these Garden Jobs, only to have their dreams crushed.
Me: Man, Dave needs to get his head out of the clouds. He thinks he'll become a millionaire on YouTube.
