A term used when a person is proven to be almost if not 100% guilty by the evidence but the court decides to let them go.

"no what happened?"

"the court let him go coz he seemed like a nice guy"

Jury Nullification

The easiest way to get out of Jury duty. Where you plead not guilty no matter what the verdict is, the judge usually kicks you out trying to save the jurisdiction of the case.

the jury is still out

an expression implying that a conclusion about someone or something has yet to be reached.

hipster: "Is this dude for real? I mean, either he's psycho, or just plain stupid."

tipster: "I dunno man....think the jury's still out on that one."

mother fucking the jury

To yell profanities at a jury while you are on trial.

Defendant: All y'all piece of shit mother fuckers on this jury are gonna die.

Judge: thank you mother fucking the jury, but we still need to finish opening statements.

Jury: I don't think that is necessary, we find the defendant guilty on all charges.
