Neighborhood Dj

Someone who lives in your neighborhood and always drives through with their music so loud everyone can hear it. Also could be someone who dosent live there, but drives through on a daily basis, i.e friends house, school, work.

Also very fucking annoying though if its always when your trying to go to sleep.

Damn man im so tired today, the neighborhood dj drove through at 2 fucking am and woke me up.

A: Damn dude you hear that? Thats some bone thugz!

B: Ya bro that's the neighborhood dj, he works right down the street.

Tough neighborhood

Since income is not the factor that makes a neighborhood a tough neighborhood, it must be a neighborhood that's been around a while. A newer neighborhood hasn't been broken in yet must be the logic that separates one from the other. Like most neighborhoods though, there will be some who think its a great place to live, some who think it's boring, and some who make it sound like the most interesting place on earth, beyond just a great place to live or grow up.

The guy made his neighborhood sound like a war zone when he wanted more respect, and the most interesting place on earth when people didn't think he was interesting, always talking about shootings and robberies. Talking about a tough neighborhood can get as overrated as some of the parties described as the most popular can be. A bunch of people in the same place at the same time isn't always interesting.

Neighborhood Watch

Neighbors watching you, your house, your kids, your yard... Usually for the benefit of keeping away burglars or "bad guys" from the neighborhood. However in the Rockies can be used to keep neighbors safe from wildlife...

Neighborhood Watch"... phone call to neighbor ... "Hey neighbor, there is a bear on your Deck right now... don't go outside... My husband is throwing firecrackers at him.... Be careful.

neighborhood sorehead

the one neighbor or party living around you sure to stink on one thing or another that you do...(loud music, parking of car/s, barking dog/s, "junk" cars,...on & on!!) -this can pretty much apply 'globally' too, ie: al-queda could be the neighborhood sorehead!

it can work in reverse too, where YOU can be the neighborhood sorehead, if YOU have these above things torturing YOU!! -in a "community" a certain degree of 'civility' does apply, and goes a long way!!

show me a place without a neighborhood sorehead, and i'll show you a perfect world!!

Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood

A long-running children's TV show on PBS. Mister Rogers' Neighborhood was deliberately simple and straightforward, marked by Rogers' purposeful actions and soothing voice. Every show he would enter his home, take off his jacket and shoes, and put on a sweater and comfortable footwear while offering a welcome for his viewers.

The slow-paced show offered an alternate universe to most of today's quick-edit cartoon children's programming. On the eve of his final show, Rogers told CNN's Jeff Greenfield he looked at the program as more than entertainment; it was a chance to reach young people and give them a foundation for a good life.

Through the years, Rogers featured artists ranging from cellist Yo-Yo Ma to bodybuilder-actor Lou Ferrigno. He dealt with the death of pets and divorce, while teaching children to love themselves and others. During the Persian Gulf War, he made a series of public service announcements telling parents how to talk to their children about war.

His recurring characters included Mr. McFeely and Lady Elaine Fairchilde, as well as puppets King Friday the Thirteenth, Daniel Striped Tiger and Curious X the Owl.

When the host of Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood died, the godwhacks from Westboro Baptist Church protested at his funeral, because Mr. Rogers never said bad things about homosexuals.
