Sometime spelled “Nuros”.

Slang term for Nurofen Plus, an OTC painkiller containing Ibuprofen and Codeine.

Commonly used as a recreational drug by purposely overdosing.

Addict: “Think I need help, been taking 32 Neuros a day for 9 months.”

neuro-fluoro

adjective - A non-clinical, light-hearted word for neurodivergent or neurodiverse.

Having or relating to a neurodivergent disorder or condition (such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, OCD, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder or Tourette's Syndrome).

An alternative to the more commonly-used 'neuro-spicy' and 'neuro-sparkly', coined by autistic stand-up comedian, JD Zamora.

My neuro-fluoro brain gets easily overstimulated by loud noises, bright lights, and itchy clothes.
