However it was split from South Korea in the Korean War because the United States opposed the unification of the peninsula. The Korean War itself was a proxy war where the world's superpowers just used ad torn apart a little asian country to fight their disputes.

A country that has its own world. Fattass leader who gets pissed off when some general sleeps during his speech and then proceeds to execute that man. The most worthless "country" in the world. Their "WMDs" can only fly 35 seconds before falling apart. Their soldiers are starving and are still using low-quality guns and equipment dating back to the end of WW2. The people have no food to eat, yet the dumbass leader Kim Jong Il spends 700 grand USD on Hennessy Cognac every year.
