PEPEis awoke cartoon frog 🐸 and also a meme. His popularity really started steam rolling in regards to the 2016 elections. He also has been an internet sensation ever since, although has quite an extensive resume. The original creator seems to be upset that Pepe has seemed to have made up his mind as to where he was putting his votes pollitically from 2016 out. There are many different Pepe memes, some are much more rare to come by than others and are even considered to be collectable in the virtual world by some.
