Pulp Fiction

One of the greatest movies of all time. Gave Samuel L Jackson and Bruce Willis their starts and jump started John Travolta's career (similiar to Swordfish).

Pulp Fiction is probably the most (mis)quoted movie of all time, next to Napolean Dynamyte. However, Pulp Fiction is also just the greatest movie of all time and probably the most "gangsta" movie next to Scarface.

Pulp Fiction is my favorite movie.

Jules: What does Marsellus Wallace look like?
Brett: What?
Jules: *flips table out of the way* What country are you from?
Brett: What?
Jules: "What" ain't no country I ever heard of! They speak English in "What?!"
Brett: What?
Jules: English, motherfucker! Do you speak it?
Brett: Yes!
Jules: Then you know what I'm saying. Describe what Marsellus Wallace looks like!
Brett: What?
Jules: *points gun at Brett* Say "what" again! Say - "what" - again! I dare you! I double-dare you motherfucker! Say "what" one more goddamn time!
Brett: He's black.
Jules: Go on!
Brett: He's bald.
Jules: Does he look like a bitch?
Brett: What?
Jules: *Shoots Brett in the shoulder* Does he LOOK like a bitch?!
Brett: No!
Jules: Then why'd you try to fuck him like a bitch, Brett?
Brett: I didn't!

---

Jimmie: Did you see a sign out in front of my house that said Dead Nigger Storage?

---

Marsellus: I'm prepared to scour the the Earth for that motherfucker. If Butch goes to Indochina, I want a nigger waiting in a bowl of rice ready to pop a cap in his ass.

---

...I need to stop now...

pulp fiction

Pulp Fiction will always be in the top ten movies of all time, even in three hundred years from now. It is a movie like no other. Its greatness cannot be explained verbally. One must see this movie, and they will emotionally feel the awesomeness of this historic film. Nothing compares to it. Its is geniusly constructed and the actors blow my mind.
This movie proppelled Uma Thurman and Quentin Tarantino into the public radar, and Quentin later had Uma cast in Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2.
This movie has incredible structure, dialogues, acting, and leaves the viewer with a strong sense of satisfaction and the feeling of beeing around something 'bigger than life'.
I constantly see and hear references to this movie in all aspects. It is a stepping stone of human development in the arts and is a movie that one can watch everyday and get just as excited over it as that person did the first time they saw it.

pulp fiction

Fictitious literature that appeared in 1930s magazines that featured unsophisticated, often lurid stories that were generally interlocked to form an underlying plot.

The film Pulp Fiction is a take on the style of literature that was presented in 30's dime-store novels.

pulp fiction

If you think "Pulp Fiction" brilliant film you are only half right Mother F'er, its a fucking milestone in the history of film making. Its a classic. Why? Because of the swearing, or is it the bloody brain bits on the rear window of a car, no it must be the Big Kahuna Burgers? No, its much more than that. Its a fucking way of life. Its a masterpiece.

Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield are two hitmen on the hunt for a briefcase whose contents were stolen from their boss, Marsellus Wallace. They run into a few unexpected detours along the road. Marsellus is out of town, and he's gotten Vincent to take care of his wife, Mia. That is, take her out for a night on the town. Things go smoothly until one of them makes a huge error. Butch Coolidge is a boxer who's been approached by Marsellus and been told to throw his latest fight. When Butch ends up killing the other boxer, he must escape Marsellus. Pumpkin and Honey Bunny (not their real names) are two lovebirds/thieves who have decided to rob the restaurant they're currently eating at. But the restaurant doesn't turn out to be as easy as the other places they've robbed.

Pumpkin: Forget it. Too risky. I'm through doing that shit.
Yolanda: You always say that. That same thing every time, "I'm through, never again, too dangerous".
Pumpkin: I know that's what I always say. I'm always right, too.
Yolanda: But you forget about it in a day or two.
Pumpkin: Yeah, well the days of me forgetting are over, and the days of me remembering have just begun.
