Mates Rates

To sell a product or service to someone at the same or close to what the product or service will cost you. Hence the person that you are selling to is being given a substantial discount on the normal price. As the term "mates rates" suggests this level of discount is usually only given to mates, or friends, of the person selling the product or service.

Bob: "Hey Johnno, how much did you pay for that computer?"
John: "Got it real cheap mate. Trev sold it to me at mates rates."

To score someone based on how rimable they look

drop rate

The probability that an award will drop from an enemy when killed by a player in most RPG based video games.

"What's the drop rate of that sword"
"It's not that rare about 76%"

ratings trap

Something that's guaranteed to get good ratings, no matter how bad it is.

Bob: Hey, did you catch the new Family Guy last night?
Jim: You shittin' me? Just another shameless ratings trap.

RATED-R

The age a country uses for the appropriate function (age limit) to watch a film with horror, nudity, violence, and or graphic violence. Each countries RATED-R functions are different. There are no inherent international laws.

This is an example of a RATED-R film? Yes, this is one I watched before it was edited. I was twenty one years old.

the GAR rating

Derived from the baseball WAR rating, the GAR rating stands for girls above replacement. A GAR rating can be assigned to anything from a new article of clothing to a new car and basically describes the amount of girls that you will now get with every year that you wouldn't have gotten without it.

These new pants are sweet...the GAR rating is at least 2.0

Grime Rate

The number of chops you take in a day divided by the number of showers you take in that same day. (# of chops/# of showers)
