Come out of the closet

The most terrifying thing in human existence! Iโ€™m still in the closet and the amount of times I have gone down to tell my parents and Iโ€™ve just chickened out

I havenโ€™t got the guts to come out of the closet

coming out of the cabana

1. (noun) a revelation or acknowledgement that one is a nudist, home nudist or naturist.

2. Openly admitting you are a nudist, home nudist, or naturist.

1. I don't know what took him so long to come out of the cabana, we all knew he was a naturist.

2. Coming out of the cabana wasn't so bad, aren't we all naturist anyway. We were all born a naturist and unless you take a shower with your swimsuit on, you are a naturist. Can't we all just get along.

coming out of the church

"coming out of the church" is a figure of speech for telling your friends and family that you are an Atheist. No longer hiding behind the veil of Religion to make other people comfortable.

ME: Tonight at dinner, I'm coming out of the church.

FRIEND: What?!? (gasp)

ME: That's right I'm telling my parents I am an atheist.
