A term mentioned in Cobra Starship's "It's Amateur Night At Apollo Creed!" in the line "I love, love girls with Brooklyn haircuts". In an interview Ryland Blackinton gave during the Really, Really, Ridiculously Good Looking tour, he explained that the term is derived from the "scenesters" that reside in Brooklyn and the haircut in question is infact a "scene" cut.
