Happiness is often times downgraded to the formal definition of: the state of being happy or content, or the more superficial definition that happiness is gained through wealth and power. However, it isnβt what you have, or who you are, or where you are, or what you are doing that makes you happy or unhappy. It is what you think about, the thoughts that you allow to take over your mind. And honestly, the moments of happiness we truly enjoy are ones that take us by surprise. It is not that we seize them, but that they seize us.
"Because I'm happy
Clap along if you feel like a room without a roof
Because I'm happy
Clap along if you feel like happiness is the truth
Because I'm happy
Clap along if you know what happiness is to you
Because I'm happy
Clap along if you feel like that's what you wanna do"
