The natural tendancy for a group of people (consisting of more than three) to, at some point during a gathering, become amassed on a bed or bed-like area (a couch, the backseat of a car, possibly even the floor) in a slightly compromising manner.
This is not to be mistaken for an orgy, or anything of the sort. Clothes are (generally) left entirely in place. The only defining characteristic is people lying together.
It has been postulated that this effect is caused by an unknown element residing within our universe. Accepting that any new-found element would be most likely radioactive, the as of yet undiscovered element is thought to contain only a partial proton in its nucleus giving it a fractional atomic number.
Last night, due to the Kaiser effect, we broke my box spring.

Used in response to someone that tells a story that isn't interesting, or holds little value to the audience. Also used when a story ends earlier than expected or is much less interesting than the build-up suggested.
Person 1: "Oh my gosh, so, this one time, I put a dollar in the vending machine and it ate my dollar... I didn't get any snacks"
Person 2: (after a pause) "Kaiser Roll"

References all criminals, or people who scare others very deeply. One may be unsure what this "Kaiser Soze" person is capable of. It is a good bet that the worst one can imagine is probably true, or close to what they are capable of. An unpredictably violent person. One who takes great pleasure or care in their violence and deception.
