And he wasn't just anyone with such name, his known work in music made his name so popular and outstanding. He originally took the name from 2 famous gangsters called "Shabba" and inserted it into his name. How he made his name anyways so popular? In his famous signature songs you can hear out him shouting his name particularly, which makes fans loving to shout it too...
Now you can either define it somebody's a Shabba Ranks fan or he is saying it out of context. (Or he has an stroke..)
