Go Take Care of My Cat

v. Formal and informal expression used in occasions of annoyance, refusal, rebellion, and extreme feelings of audacity. It communicates to contemporary opposition that the matter at hand is not one of particular importance; meaningless, absurd, ridiculous, nonsensical, bizarre, inconceivable.

Existence of actual cat as pet is not required for the use of this expression.

" I used to feel bad when people laughed at me about my accent, but one day I woke up,

and decided it was time to tell them all to go take care of my cat."

take care of a few things at home

It usually means you don't want to go and do something, but alternatively it can also means you have the shits and you're too embarrassed/professional to say it.

I Have Some Business To Take Care Of

It's like telling someone - Piss off, I no longer wish to hear your voice and pretend to be interested.

-Thinking- "Man, I really want to get away from this idiot... I can't stand the prattle eminating from their mouth...."
-Speaking- "Hey, Bill... I have some business to take care of. Can I get back to you later?"

take care of some very important business

a euphemism for using the restroom. -It makes it sound important, because even though other people think it's not, you know it is.

Excuse me... I have to take care of some very important business. Back in a sec.
