Victory Dump

Taking a dump while having a virus/bug. When you complete your dump you will feel refreshed and know the worst of it has gone by. This dump tells you that you have flushed away the last bits of your virus and you may now get back to living your life. This dump will often be runny, a queer colour and/or smelll terrible. When completion of dump takes place, one must stand, lift arms above ones head and do a victory march around the house. Flushing of the dump is not necessary straight away incase you want to show friends/family what you have accomplished.

Friend: Aw WTF?
You: Yeah, I know, pretty impressive huh?
Friend: You have something wrong with you
You: It was one of my better victory dumps I'll admit

Brexic victory

Brexic victory (n, usually singular):

1. A victory which is both damaging in the short-term, and yet also leads to staggering long-term losses.

2. A disaster both tactically and strategically.

3. A victory which no one should have wished for had they known the present or future consequences.

4. (pejorative) Any of the above senses, with the implication that the 'victor' is deluded as to the nature of their 'victory'.

Portmanteau of Brexit and Pyrrhic victory.

The Embargo Act of 1807, as a response to the Chesapeake–Leopard Affair, both failed to damage British exports - they found new markets in South America - and damaged both the US economy and public confidence in the fairness of the US government. It was a short-term diplomatic failure, and a long-term economic disaster for the USA; the bill's passing is an early example of a Brexic victory.

Victory at sea

The term used to describe incredibly windy and choppy conditions in the ocean. Often used by surfers to describe stormy surf conditions. It is derived from the old tv show Victory at Sea from the opening scene showing a very stormy ocean. Some people simply call it VAS.

We couldn't surf today because the conditions were victory at sea.
